Q: Who is the richest person in the land?
A’Oddly enough, it’s not a person, but a living mummy, King Smektt, who owns shares in Alavan’s Trading company. In life, he was filthy rich. In undeath, he finances entire kingdoms with loans.

Q:Is there any place on the map where swords are illegal, magic is outlawed or any other notable hassles from Johnny Law?
A:Gnasha IS the law, which is pretty lax. It’s a frontier town, you could probably get away with a quite a bit if you know the right people or have the correct intentions. However, if you’re caught doing something you shouldn’t, you could simply be escorted to the gates and kicked out into the swamp without your gear, which is a VERY BAD THING. Also known as “Sump Justice.”
Q: Which way to the nearest tavern?
A: There are two major taverns and several smaller ones. “The Hole”, is where the locals hang out. Q: What monsters are terrorizing the countryside sufficiently that if I kill them I will become famous?
A: Everything in the Sump is dangerous. Tripping up the forces of Wrath would earn you a high five from every one. Q: Are there any wars brewing I could go fight?
A: Not locally. Things are pretty tense to the West, in Illium, now that King Aceriak is missing. In the East, Magaat is soundly holding the line against Bael Slith, there’s definitely money and fame there,. South is the sea, and the Fallen Empire. It’s generally seen as a smoking ruin, and no one goes there if they have a choice
Q: How about gladiatorial arenas complete with hard-won glory and fabulous cash prizes?
A: In Stilit, every month or so there’s a competition and mock combat tourney – the orcs, locals, and adventurers all field champions who compete. Sometimes outland monsters or barbarians show up and compete as well. These games are respected as neutral ground, breaking the peace is punishable by Sump Justice
